7. Child Safety Standards
Dvove is committed to protecting children and maintaining a safe platform environment. Our child safety practices include:
- Age Requirements: Our platform is designed for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
- Content Moderation: All county announcements and posts are monitored to ensure appropriateness and compliance with community standards.
- Official Verification: Only verified county officials can post content, reducing risk of inappropriate material.
- Reporting Mechanism: Users can report concerning content directly through the app. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
- Zero Tolerance: We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any such content results in immediate account termination and reporting to relevant authorities.
- Legal Compliance: We comply with all Kenyan laws and international standards regarding child protection, including the Children Act 2022 and relevant regulations.
